Yes. Urinary incontinence is a very annoying problem. Approximately 15-30% of women over 65yoa suffer from some form of urinary incontinence, but this does not only affect women. There are many types of urinary incontinence, but the main ones are stress incontinence (“I have little accidents when I laugh, cough, lift weights…”) and urge incontinence (“I don’t make it to the toilet in time…”). The urologist will examine you thoroughly (history, voiding diary, clinical examination, Urodynamic study) before deciding what form of treatment (different for each form of incontinence) is appropriate for you.
