I am a young woman and I often get UTIs (urinary tract infections). What should I do?

Question 5

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are very common in young women. It is estimated that 1 in 3 women in their 30s suffers at least one such infection. The best solution is to increase your fluid intake, to use a condom for sexual intercourse and to urinate after sexual intercourse. In the case of persistent or recurrent UTI, visit a urologist who will administer the proper antibiotic treatment and will investigate the causes. For more information please click here
